Last year, Huawei introduced a Flash File Transfer System. The system, which came as a new EMUI 11 feature, ably supports the transfer of large files at super fast speed with a smooth connection. It supports 305 Mbps ultra-high-speed at long-distance at up to 400GB large file transfer.

Two mobile phones can transfer directly from point to point with the help of Huawei’s end-to-end capabilities in 5G chips, 5G devices, and 5G networks, this new tech can easily achieve fast file transfer without any interruptions.

This new large file flash transfer function allows the user to transfer large files, HD video, and images without any fear of size, and distance without affecting the image quality as well as the transmission can be resumed even if interrupted.

Furthermore, the continuous transmission has improved communication efficiency in multi-scenario applications such as mobile, office, and remote communication. This is a true 5G killer application in the true sense and it’s another big milestone in the field of 5G communications.

The feature is currently expanding in China with EMUI 11.

How to update your device to have the Flash File Transfer

Download via Settings:

  • Open Settings
  • Click on the System & updates
  • Open Software update
  • Tap on Check for updates option
  • If an EMUI 11 update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

  • Open the Support app on your device
  • Go to the Service tab
  • Click on the update button
  • Tap on Check for update option
  • If an EMUI 11 update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device
