Parliament has launched an app called “Uganda Bungeni” aimed at enabling the public to trace the status of bills that are debated in the House.
“Uganda Bungeni” is a Swahili word meaning inside the Uganda Parliament and is available on Google Play and App Store.
The App will also be used by the public to give feedback on bills or legislation before committees.

According to the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga, the app is under development and more features will be installed there.
“We started with incorporating the bill tracking feature in the App but will soon include other features that will allow members of the public to find their MP; post petitions and use the App as a source of any parliamentary information. Please download the App and engage with Parliament.”
