Interswitch partners with International Airtime Top Up to offer cross border airtime service

Interswitch, a leading African financial inclusion services company that delivers digital business and consumer services through its “Quickteller Paypoint” solutions has partnered with International Airtime Top Up to facilitate cross border airtime transactions originating (initially) from Uganda to over 150 destination countries supported including, Burundi, China, Congo, DRC, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, UAE and USA.

Using Interswitch Mobile App at Quickteller Paypoint, 2,000+ agents across Uganda, International Airtime Top Up’s service allows traders, students studying abroad, tourists, business travelers, migrant workers and refugees to conveniently top up their (prepaid) mobile phones globally.

Users can send airtime instantly to any phones across Africa’s and the world’s leading mobile network operators covered for self, family and friends or business partners in destination currencies including, BIF, CNY, XAF, ETB, GHS, INR, KES, NGN, ZAR, TZS, AED, and USD.

2. Select ‘International Airtime Top Up’ option

3. Select country e.g. Burundi Airtime

4. Select plan e.g. Econet Leo Burundi 2,000 BIF (7,000 UGX)

5. Enter mobile number to be instantly topped up e.g. 257704000000

6. Pay Interswitch agent
