Good afternoon. Welcome to the second week of August. Below are the events and jobs you need to look out for as you sail through the week.
Tuesday, August 7
Online Business Opportunity Event
The event will take place from 10am to midday at Cafe Javas, Parliamentary Avenue, Kampala. The event aims at discussing online opportunity creation for persons interested in earning extra income online, opening up an online business without interference with their usual schedule, according to organisers.
This will take place at OutBox Hub on Plot 23, Lumumba Avenue from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. It is being organized by Google Development Group GDG Kampala.
Next Extended events are aimed at bringing together developer communities around the world to experience talks, in-depth product demos, and behind-the-scenes interviews.
The event is slated to happen on the 7th and 9th of August. Google Cloud leaders will be talking about how the cloud is transforming business, availability of Artificial Intelligence to everyone.
Thursday, August 9
This day will be the deadline for innovators interested in Zayed Sustainability Prize, a competition looking for tech innovations solving hunger, conservation, and health care access issues.

Art Forum
Still, on Thursday, there is an art form about “copyright and how to earn from your art.”
The event will feature speakers like Richard Kaweesa, Silver Kyagulanyi and the journalist Raymond Mujuni
