It’s 2022 and smartphone manufacturers are already paving way for what’s coming in the months ahead. The latest about town is that itel Mobile is all set to unveil its latest A-Series smartphone in Uganda – the itel A58 Series.
itel’s A-series devices are entry-level phones with unique, yet exciting, specifications and features. This particular itel A58 smartphone is expected to come with a 6.6-inch HD+ display, to run Android’s Go Edition, and is likely to be powered by a 4000mAh battery – true to the slogan of ‘More Power’.
In terms of features and performance, we are yet to determine the Quad-core chipset powering the performance. But one key thing we can determine is that the basic variant of the A58 Series will have 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage memory.
If you are the kind that wants more storage for yourself, there is a microSD card slot, so you can expand the memory to store more videos and photos.
Like all itel smartphones, we expect this to be a dual-SIM device. This model should also support 2G and 3G networks on all available mobile networks. For 4G connectivity, you might have to go in for the itel A58 Pro.
This second variant should carry with it 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Besides these, the rest of the specifications are likely to be the same.
The prices of the two devices are yet to be known. However, we won’t have long to wait before itel Mobile reveals them. We shall keep you posted once the device launches, and have a set up for review.
