Infinix Mobility released the new Hot 8 smartphone, and – like we told you – this one seems to be a lot hotter. The company is building something unique with this latest model, giving it so many never-seen-before attributes that the predecessor lacked or had in minimal quantities.
The new phone comes with a waterdrop notch on the display, making it have a bigger 20:9 aspect ratio. It also comes with an improved network connectivity, such as 4G LTE.
We received the Hot 8 and are now going to make a review of it for you.
What’s inside the box?
The Infinix Hot 8 box is wrapped in an attractive box. When you unwrap it, you’ll find the phone, charger head, a transparent phone case, earphones, micro USB charger, and screen protector.
What do we like?
The Big screen: The Hot 8 builds a lot on the Hot 7 and this is very visible with the 6.6-inch screen that comes with a drop notch. What do you love about big screen smartphones? I would tell you that they just make everything look easy to do on your phone – reading, writing, watching videos, playing video games. The Infinix Hot 8 doesn’t disappoint at all.
The camera set-up: When you choose to use the Infinix Hot 8, you are sure to get a good camera device on you. It comes with three cams on the rear, something to fall for on any modern smartphone, as well as a really bright and intelligent front selfie camera.
The Battery: The Hot 8 is equipped with a massive 5000 mAh battery capacity to keep it running through out the day and even more. You will get to do all your activity without worrying about when the next charge will be. And on charge, the Hot 8 keeps you going with its super-fast charging system that pumps in the power to 100% in just 2 hours.
The body: For the love of slim, sleek, and classic handsets, it is all here. The Infinix Hot 8 fits perfectly in pockets, slips in safely away from thieves that could envy you.
The performance: Modern smartphones have their focus on maximum performance. The Hot 8 does not disappoint on this. It is indeed a fast smartphone, and effective device for one that would love to use it for personal errands.
What don’t we like?
Infinix smartphones have a software issue where they have so much bloatware upon purchase. We are getting used to XOS coming with pre-installed apps such as XTheme, XClub, Boomplay, Scooper, among others. But the relevance and importance of these varies from user to user.
