Technology startups that are innovating for the agriculture sector have been called to apply for the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize.
A total of US$100,000 will be given to two startups, with each taking home US$50,000 (about Shs185 million) to help in growing its business.
For startups interested in applying, you have up to July 21.
The money will be won by one startup founded by a male and the other by a female.
The judges will look at how innovative the startup is, how original its idea is and how it can easily scale, putting into consideration supporting the sustenance of the environment.

Aside from offering funds, the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize will support startups to attend the Africa Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) meeting in Accra, Ghana.
Finalists will also receive mentorship, programming linkages and guidance to continue their entrepreneurial journey.
For you to apply, you must be aged 35 or below and your company should be legally registered in a country that is a member of the African Union.
