Joan Kizza Semanda is the new Public Relations (PR) and Communications Manager, SoftPower News reported on Wednesday.
Kizza replaces Tina Wamala who recently nabbed a job as Communications Officer at the British High Commission in Kampala.
A graduate of Business Administration (BA), majoring in Marketing at Makerere University Business School, she has close to a decade of experience working in the marketing and advertising industry.
In 2013 she completed her Masters of Business Administration from European University Barcelona and she was the best student in that class. She majored in in PR and Communications.

According to SoftPower, she’ll help Multichoice Uganda “deliver and execute” its “PR strategy” as well as “interface with the public regarding all” all the company’s communications.
She’ll oversee and manage publicity for both DStv and GOtv brands.
Before scooping this job, Joan Kizza was working with TBW/A Uganda, a top marketing and advertising agency in Uganda. She also worked with National Social Security Fund (NSSF), Moringa Ogilvy and she also blogs about life at Imigani, a blog she co-founded.
