Just as KaiOS Technologies partnered with MTN Group to deliver MTN Kamunye, Ikosora and MTN Smart T to smart feature phone lovers, it also partnered with Maxcom to deliver Maxcom MK241 also known as MK241 phone.

However, unlike the former which only support 3G, Maxcom MK241 supports 4G.

Currently trading in Europe, the MK241 phone comes applications such as Gmail, Facebook, Google Maps, Twitter, YouTube. The other apps can be downloaded from the KaiStore.

With Google Assistant built within this smart feature phone, you don’t have to worry about constantly pressing buttons.

Launched in December 2018, the device has 2 cameras (front & rear camera), Bluetooth connectivity, mobile hotspot as well as music and video streaming services.

Like its sister KaiOS-powered devices, Maxcom MK241 comes with a 2.4’ screen, 256MB/512MB RAM/ROM, a 2000mAH battery, and supports dual SIM supporting a microSD card with up to 32GB of storage.

In the MK241 phone, you’ll find the UNISOC SC7731EF, the first 3G smart chipset and also be able to play FM radio and use GPS.
