4 things we love about the Tecno Camon 18 Premier
This article is precisely highlighting the five key things or features we found amazing about the super camera device. Besides it being a good one to hold, given its premium feel and look, it does have some relevant content in it.
Tecno gave its every cent to this phone’s production and the satisfaction levels are to the fullest. Let’s dive into the best about the new Camon.
The Camera
The highlight of the Tecno Camon 18 Premier is its triple camera on the back. This features a 64MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and an 8MP telelens that has an amazing 5x optical zoom. All this is not a surprise since the phone is practically designed for photography.
The beauty about the phone’s camera output is that the image contrast is good, the noise is low, and the colors stay true to reality. You won’t get the over-sharpening that happens on other phones and the photos do retain a bit of their natural look.
There is also a 64MP mode called Ultra HD and this saves detailed enough photos, with excellent colors and good contrast.
The Battery
The Tecno Camon 18 Premier is powered by a 4750 mAh battery, and it supports fast 33W charging. It is indeed fast because powering from 0% to 100% took just about 45 minutes. This is without mentioning that the battery can last up to 3 days of ordinary use – if you are the kind that loves reserving your phone battery.
Also, the tests on consumption after or during video playback, calls, and web browsing all presented amazing standby performance.
The performance
Performance-wise, the phone runs on the Helio G96 chipset by MediaTek. The chipset packs two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores ticking at 2.05GHz and six energy-efficient Corext-A55 cores working at 2.0GHz. Additionally, the Camon series have support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
We need to mention that the Tecno Camon 18 Premier is available in one configuration of 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS storage. This gives the phone that fluid feel when you are using it, making it flow all through operations and giving you even more reasons to love using it.
The design
At the end of the review, we can confidently say that we did love the Tecno Camon 18 Premier. It is a phone of solid build and no-nonsense design.
Plus, the Camon 18 Premier is made of glass on both its front and back sides. The backside has a really fine silky matte finish, which we found quite nice to feel and touch.
