The Uganda Bankers Association (UBA) will this coming Tuesday, together with the other industry regulators and practitioners gather for a discussion on how risk can be managed in the ever-changing financial environment.
The event will be held at the Kampala Serena Hotel under the theme, ‘managing risk in a growing and fast-changing environment’.

Still, on the same day, there will be a 2-hour breakfast meeting at Cafe Javas along Parliament Avenue focusing on financial inclusion. Participants will discuss various topics including mobile banking, digital trading, forex businesses among others.
Shaping East Africa is an inaugural regional summit of Global Shapers that will draw over 200 participants occupying the Eastern Africa region including Ethiopia. The 3-day dialogue is expected to bring together the brightest young minds in the region to discuss solutions to issues that directly affect their communities.

GCDC Kampala Meetup
This coming Friday, the Outbox technology hub will from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm host the GCDC Kampala community. The meetup will focus on learning some of the applications of Machine learning and the opportunities that come along.
