Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, is preparing to host a continental technology conference that is expected to bring together investors and stakeholders in the technology ecosystem to discuss how to shape the industry in Africa.
Dubbed Africa Tech Summit, the event, according to an official statement, will take place at the Kigali Convention Centre from February 13 to February 15, 2019.
Organizers say the event will provide unrivalled insight, networking and business opportunities for African and international tech leaders and investors who want to drive growth in Africa.
“The format of the Summit will deliver a true cross-sectional view of technology advances and opportunities from across the continent,” reads an official statement.
“An array of keynotes, fireside chats, and panels from tech leaders in Africa, leading entrepreneurs, and investors, will be complemented by interaction, in-depth round-table discussions, breakout sessions and hours of quality networking with decision makers.”
