Online Business Opportunity Event
On the last day of this month, entrepreneurs will gather at Cafe Javas along Parliamentary Avenue in Kampala from 7pm to 9pm to discuss online business opportunities.
Wed, August 1
On Wednesday, tech enthusiasts will gather at Hive Colab between 5pm and 8pm for the WAZIHUB Information Session.
The main objective of this information session is to communicate the tools potential participants will use if they are selected for the program, get knowledge about the technologies they will be using in the subsequent stages or better still expound on what idea they already have developed, organizers say.
The participants will also be informed about all the infrastructure and services available for them in this accelerator program.
WAZIHUB is an innovation project for Africa which aims to accelerate open IoT and Big Data innovation in Africa by leveraging African local talent inform of entrepreneurs and start-ups developing cutting edge and African grade solutions solving African society problems.

Kampala Design Week will be having another installation of Design Garage, featuring Chef Thiwe. She will be sharing her take on how design and food collide to stimulate our palate.

On Saturday, people interested in learning to trade and earn from their phones will be hosted by Edward Hire at Cafe Javas along Parliamentary Avenue in Kampala.
Expected to start at 10pm and end at midnight, the event will cover topics like “situation in regards to our investment’s and multiplying our current savings, what is Forex and how and who is using it today, the power of our Professional Signals, Harmonic scanner and Web/Crypto Analyzer” among others.
Kampala weekend of Kotlin 2018
This will be a two-day workshop and organisers say it is good for Android and Website developers who want to develop apps with Kotlin.
Kotlin is the new JVM language where all the best practices of programming come together, organisers say. It is being organised by Brian Mutebi. It will take place at Outbox Hub, Lumumba Avenue, Soliz house in Kampala.
