Microsoft is now making the Your Phone app that mirrors phone content to a PC available to all its Windows 10 users. Microsoft started testing this app last month with promises to have it in the next Windows 10 update later this year. However, the app has secretly been added to the Microsoft Store and is available to everyone with the current Windows 10 April update.
Users can download the Your Phone app for Windows 10 through the Microsoft store here and subsequently connect their phones to it. The app is available for both 32bit and 64bit systems and is just 11MBs in size. To install it, users must be signed into their Microsoft accounts and can install up to ten Windows 10 devices. The product has to be installed on your internal hard drive.
The app that currently works only on Android devices allows users to drag and drop photos from a phone to a PC. Most of its features aren’t available or enabled but are expected to be added sometime later. So far the Your Phone app only allows Android users to share their most recent 25 Android phone photos with their PCs. The app will soon add support for text message sync and notifications from Android phones to mirror to a PC.

Microsoft is also planning to expand Your Phone so that it can do more like allow users to make calls and exchange SMS messages. The app will no doubt do more on Android phones than iPhones because of Apple’s tight control over the iOS.
Currently, the iPhone version of the app only allows users to share web pages they were browsing on their phones with their Windows 10 PCs. For iPhone users, the Your Phone app isn’t available to all Windows 10 users like the Android version is.
