Mid this year, Tecno released the Spark 5 – the fifth iteration of its Spark series of smartphones. Spark smartphones are the highlight mid-range model from the company and having one of them is an amazing experience. They surprisingly always sell out when they hit the market and the specifications are ever on point, especially in regards to the trends. This September, the Spark Go 2020 has been unveiled.
This Spark Go 2020 takes on a 6.52″ 20:9 HD+ display with waterdrop notch for the 8MP front-facing camera. It is no longer surprising to have a smartphone with a big screen on it. You just have to look out for one to enjoy video streaming and gaming.
When it comes to performance, the Tecno Spark Go 2020 is powered by the Helio A20 SoC that’s paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage onboard. However, it also comes with a dedicated slot for a microSD card, which allows storage expansion by up to 256GB.
The backside has a 13MP primary shooter that’s alongside a depth sensor. There is also a fingerprint reader, and all this is fueled by a massive 5,000 mAh battery. It is worth noting that the Spark 5 had 4 cameras on the rear and the downgrade to two is questionable.
The Spark Go 2020 does run the Go Edition of Android 10 with HiOS 6.2 on top. It will have two color options – Ice Jadeite and Aqua Blue.
